Stumbling Voyeur the return

Welcome to another edition of the almost seedy Stumbling Voyeur a dirty dark look at the stumbling habits of the rich and famous, but due to legal reasons we couldn’t post so you will have to make do with some of most well known bloggers as before our volunteers (in the looses sense) will have their dirty laundry on display for all to see.

You can see our previous victims (volunteers) in the first stumbling voyeur. Please don’t worry no cats were harmed during the writing of this post.

What’s it all about: One of the great new features of stumbleupon is to make it easier to stumble through other people stumbles, so you can see what they liked either websites, photos or videos, so with that Knowledge what happens next is self explanatory.

Engtech/Ninetimessix

Technologist and blogger of Internet Duck tape one of the most popular blogs on wordpress.com. Engtech has been using stumbleupon for just over 10 months and has amassed an interesting collection. Lets see what we can find.

Maki/Autorave

Writer of the highly successful Blog Dosh Dosh providing monetizing tips for web sites and has written a fantastic guide to using stumbleupon and has been using Stumbleupon since January this year.

Alister Cameron

Australian blogging consultant and blogger himself his blog alistercameron.com is a Mecca for would be blogging professionals, a long term member of stumbleupon having joined way back in 2005.

Serious Point

Ok So its a fun post but it has a serious message, your on-life is there its easy to track, its easy to check on, have you stumbled something you shouldn’t have? If you have changed your profile to R or X rated viewing are you sure you know what category your thumbs up are going?.

In todays culture how long will it be before a teacher is accused of being of looking at indecent images because his students looked at their stumbles?
If you have a public image or persona remember what ever social network you use to take care to maintain the image you are creating.

So today’s moral is: Don’t be an ass with that thumb.

One final thing

The Final link but which of our volunteers gave it the thumbs up? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4332830819848713435
if you liked this post then send it to a friend or two ;) happy stumbling.

One thing I realized is that I have a tendency to use StumbleUpon for my time-wasting sites and del.icio.us for my “worth saving” links.

But all that’s going to change because I just wrote a greasemonkey extension that automatically stumbles my del.icio.us saves. :)

nice idea I could do with a script like that ;)
Stumbleupon is a great distraction much like playing patience just clicking the stumble button click the stumble until something piques your interest. I think my own stumbles are pretty balanced between fun and serious though.

Thanks for the inclusion here, Tim!

I’ll have to be more careful now, if someone is going to be “perving” on my stumbles. Ha ha!
