Paid Links debate

Is selling Links a crime, Google you decide!

Just a quick post pointing you to two posts the first is a Guest Post I did for SEO Cog on paid Links and the second a Payment blogger post on the same subject.

Both are heated and on the side of Paid Links, I hope they are not rants and that they get the message across. One more thing before clicking the payment blogger link please place your coffee cup down, I am not responsible for damages to your computers caused by my posts ;)

I hate the whole link based alog, can’t wait until someone comes up with a better solution. I hate the way google manages the whole mess. Imagine the web without link based ranking alogs – less spam, less mess.

Without a link based algo we will go back to the days of on page keyword spamming which was and even bigger mess.

  3. Admin Says:

Certainly a need to shift the balance is needed but ignoring links would as Jazz316 says never work and just return us to the old days. Whatever they do some one will always game the system and others like myself will always attempt to optimise pages to reach an audience

  4. Dallas Web Builders Says:

why cant it be without links . ?”???

  5. Tim Nash Says:

because without links Google has no means to verify the page is what it says it is, so to rank well you would simply stuff the page full of keywords.
