Our main site venture-skills.co.uk is currently down for repairs and maintenance. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask at support@venture-skills.co.uk
Our mail and other services and our clients sites are still up and active.
Update: This is a pretty old blog post, which through the nature of StumbleUpon has once again become hot, don’t judge us to harshly it was only our third month blogging after all
Its been over 3 months since we started this blog, and in that time we have had some really interesting posts and discussions, on all manner of things including Google Hosted Applications, Drupal, Search engine optimisation, branding and identity. But a question we are asked is bloging worth it?
Just a quick update for those expecting Drupal|SEO|fun posts and have been left disappointed. we are sorry but rain has stopped play.
On a serious note it has been abusy time for us and we are in the process of moving, reorganising and keeping our clients happy the blog has been left to rot a bit. Things will change but for now hold on.
So whats to come
That should take us to the end of February when intermixed with other content.

While catching up on some reading due to a power-cut at Venture HQ, I came across this post from Mind Valley labs on their recent marketing campaign they discovered that having a very impressive testimonial on their site actually hurt their conversion rates. They offered a few reasons but I would like to add a couple more.
Whatever your religion or not and we are not very religious bunch at Venture Skills, have a very merry Christmas and a great new year to come.
Enjoy and stay safe

p.s Don’t forget to visit Tims new site at www.timnash.me.uk, he got tagged (5 things you don’t know about me) by Darren from Problogger but only by begging….
Well it’s that time of year when reflections should be made so I thought rather then simply tell you how well its all gone I would just link to some of our best stories and posts of the year (this is not the last post of the year but Christmas time isn’t really part of 2006 is it?)
